Vote for THSH in 2008 Tourism 'Oscars'

Leading concert venues Town Hall and Symphony Hall are amongst top attractions from across the West Midlands featuring in this year’s Heart of England Excellence in Tourism Awards.

The Culture of the Heart Award invites the public to vote online for the venue they feel has contributed most to the cultural diversity of the region – from concert halls to theatres to stately homes.

Visitors who may have attended awe-inspiring concerts at the magnificent Symphony Hall or enjoyed moving performances at Birmingham’s newly renovated Town Hall can vote for either venue by choosing from the drop down menu and completing the short online form here. All entrants will be entered into a prize draw, giving them an opportunity to win a trip to one of the region’s top cultural destinations.

Organised by the Tourism West Midlands Partnership and Advantage West Midlands, details of the award will feature in The Birmingham Post over coming weeks, and the winner will be announced at an Oscars-themed ceremony at Birmingham’s ICC in November.
